Carronade 2013
My wargames show season of 2013 got off to a flying start with Falkirk’s superb show, Carronade, on 11 May. I didn’t bring home the same weight of Pendraken metal as I did last year (see Post 23) but I hadn’t bought any Pendraken new releases in the last eight months so I did return with a load of what was new in the 1809 range since Edinburgh’s wargames show, Claymore, back in August 2012 (see Post 39) – all I needed, in fact! These were all Austrian figures: cavalry, engineers, Archduke Charles Legion, a couple of staff officers and Archduke Charles himself. I also grabbed a few figures from some other ranges to sneak into my 1809 project. I posted some of my photos of the show on the Pendraken Forum. RIGHT My Pendraken pile from Carronade 2013.
