Bit of Fun Basing Landwehr
I based the Pendraken Landwehr figures that were featured in Post 109. I thought, however, that it might be fun to do something a little different and base the officer out in front of the usual two ranks of infantrymen. The Pendraken Landwehr officer is a pretty slender chap so there was a good chance it would be possible without changing my usual line spacing for close- formed infantry. As it turned out, the figures fitted fine on the normal 25mm square base. So well, in fact, that I felt I should be a bit more adventurous with my basing in the future. It wouldn’t help the Landwehr on the tabletop battlefield, though, that they had one more than the usual six figures on their base. It wouldn’t improve their game rating, alas. Just gave me more figures to paint. Again, alas! But worth the effort, I thought.
